You've got a silver tongue? Show it off by posting your poetry.
Please do not steal poetry off others for your own benefit, it's deceitful and pathetic. Furthermore, if you would like to use someone's poetry for some place else, you MUST ask the author for permission because they have full right to their work. (Also if they do allow you to use it, be sure to include their name) Thank you for abiding to these "fair" rules.
I'll post a few of mine to start it off.
Thankful You meet and you part, Our meeting may be as insignificant as a ripple in the ocean, It may be just a single drop of rain on a stormy day, But I’ll be enjoying that moment while it lasts, I’ll cherish it, Not knowing when that moment will end, And if you do part, I’ll keep what memories that you left, until the end.
Living From when I was, I was not alike, I see others see what I do not, As I notice others feel what I have not, The endless sorrow that does not rot, That seeps throw endless springs of thought, The sleeping warmth I could not waken, The joy that was forsaken, Was never to be undertaken, From when I was, up til now, Thou is the mystery, that binds me somehow.
